Representatives from a variety of dealerships, manufacturers, and non-profit organizations will be present to answer questions and provide demonstrations to attendees.<\/p>\n<p>The event is hands-on and allows the public to get behind the wheel of an EV, learn how to charge one, and more. Curtis Rogers, the manager of Amteck\u2019s EV Solutions Division, explains that \u201cwith the state receiving <a href=\"https:\/\/transportation.ky.gov\/Planning\/Pages\/EVPlan.aspx\">$70 million for EV infrastructure<\/a>, the costs and inconveniences to drive electric are being lowered, so we want to tackle the ongoing knowledge problem.\u201d Recent research indicates that fewer than <a href=\"https:\/\/graphics.reuters.com\/AUTOS-ELECTRIC\/USA\/mopanyqxwva\/\">1% of Americans drive electric vehicles<\/a>, making them unfamiliar to the vast majority of people.<\/p>\n<p>The event is expected to draw attendees from across the Bluegrass region, including local and state officials. Business owners are welcome to visit and learn more about fleet solutions and parking lot retrofitting. As one of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecmweb.com\/top-50-electrical-contractors\/article\/21250735\/big-year-on-paper-ecms-2022-top-50-electrical-contractors-special-report\">America\u2019s largest electrical contractors<\/a>, Amteck has been installing chargers from coast to coast for years.
